Don't measure straight across! Measure ring over to other ring. If you have extra rings down the side, please send pics for further instructions.
Cantle/back

Start at the back center of your cantle and measure around to ONE side. If you have a crupper ring please let me know. I need to know where YOUR attachment points are on your saddle. This allows me to put the attachment rings where YOU need them.

I need two measurements from you, Calf & Length.
1. Calf- Biggest part, AROUND!
2. Length- Back side of your knee, at the bend, to the floor.
NO SHOES!! Wear your regular riding pants.
Velcro tabs will give you a better adjust verse Zipper which are more of an EXACT fit!
Use a Soft measuring tape,
NOT METAL!
Double fringe only on zippered chaps. Single fringe can go on Velcro tabs or zipper.

Tracing Template
INSERT saddlepad- Synthetic wool backing, inner core 0.125" & a heavy canvas top. These pads are designed to be used with (memory foam, shims or wool inserts (NOT INCLUDED).
A tracing of your saddle is needed. Please include all of your skirting "&" rigging spots. "IF" you have a favorite pad you are currently using, just trace it "&" tell me the spine length of that current pad and or saddle. Any questions, PLEASE call, info below.
Bootie Sox are made from a synthetic wool, inner core liner 0.125" thick and a heavy canvas top.
Systems are completely washable, LINE DRY! Hoseing off is best!
Bootie Tracing- Grab a saddle stand, put a saddle pad on the stand, lay decent wrapping paper or cut open a feed bag (this is best option). Set saddle on top of paper & be sure the paper goes below your saddle skirting.
Get a marker & trace all the way around the edge of your panel, best you can. The middle/underside panel will give you the most difficulty, but don't stress it, just do your best in that section (dotted lines).
Trace around your skirting area as well. Trace ONLY ONE SIDE of saddle, not both.
Recheck your work /tracing several times!
When tracing be as exact as you can, I will make seam allowance adjustments. These Bootie Sox will be made exactly as you submit your template.
